Anxiety Self Help - Some Useful Tips
Control and manage your anger many say. But the simple reality is there are a number of self help techniques that can eliminate it altogether. Below I have listed the self help techniques I have used to eliminate my inner anger, hate and rage. I was taught EFT or the Emotional Unlimited Memory Review Freedom Technique during my training as a hypnotherapist and I have successfully used EFT to eliminate a great amount of hate and anger. When I first applied this technique on myself, it brought up a huge amount of repressed anger, inner rage and hate I had for an aunt who beat me senseless as a kid. Within 20 minutes of applying this technique, my hate had gone from 10 out of 10, to 0 out of 10. I couldn't believe it was all gone. This technique simply gets you to tap your fingers on about eight meridian energy points on your face and upper body and repeat certain phrases connected to a past painful memory. It is easy to learn how to do this technique, but you can also use a professional EFT therapist if you are feeling unsure.
You hear a lot about journaling your feelings on paper and I was never much into that. I'll tell you this story, for it even amazed me. I once was volunteering at an organization and a senior manager insulted me for no reason at all. I felt a huge amount of hate boil up inside of me, like it was bringing up all the anger and hate I had from my past with it. I Unlimited Memory went home and decided to write a letter to the CEO to express how I had been treated unfairly. I got on my computer and away I went. I wrote a two page letter and expressed my anger, hate and humiliation and request that this manager be reprimanded. Well, after I had finished writing the letter, ALL of my hate and anger was gone! I was amazed. I didn't feel like posting the letter, so I didn't, but I knew in that moment I found a new way to eliminate my inner hate.
This is a technique I was skeptical about at first, mainly because it was so simple I did not believe that anything so simple could eliminate feelings of anger and hate.
