The association describes their school chaplains as being driven by four key pillars:

2. To explore and honor identity
3. To create and cultivate community
4. To illuminate and ignite purpose

If you live or work in or around Angleton and are interested in becoming a school chaplain and increasing the moral education available to children and teenagers in the region, the National School Chaplain Association has a new certified online program, which you can commence at any time. 

Their program is an eight-week course which is highly recommended to you if you are a parent or guardian of school-aged children, or if you have teaching and/or ministry experience. The team at the National School Chaplain Association can assist you through the application process and the association will also provide you with post-graduation employment support. 

A spokesperson for the association asked, “Do you feel called to serve?” explaining that “Becoming a certified school chaplain opens doors for you to touch the lives of countless students and teachers, and to leave an indelible mark on their journeys and generations to come.” 

If you enroll with the National School Chaplain Association, you could start off 2024 as a certified school chaplain.
