Aneroid Sphygmomanometers – High Quality, Blood Pressure Montiors for The Health Care Professional

by Richard John amzmedicalproducts

Since decades mechanical blood circulation pressure instruments of boso are a symbol of highest precision and reliability. An incredible number of units have gone the manufacturer in Jungingen / Germany, and are an intrinsic part in doctors’ offices and private hospitals all around the globe. In our creation, we look after finest quality – from the setup, over calibration to the ultimate inspection of every unit. Due to concerns about the protection and environmental impact of mercury, aneroid sphygmomanometers have changed mercury-filled devices for blood circulation pressure (BP) measurements. Not surprisingly change, few studies have likened BP measurements between your 2 devices.

Aneroid sphygmomanometer – Every manometer is safe against overpressure and equipped with a non-corrosive system, that absorbs even shocks of dropping the device. The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (the national institute for metrology) examined boso sphygmomanometers and arrived at a superb result for boss’s surprise protection-technology. No harm, no issues, no maintenance – perfect protection. Mainly for the daily use in private hospitals and doctors’ offices.

An ideal solution for hospitals and medical practices.

Based on preferences or usages boso offers an array of different scales with smaller or bigger

diameters and various tube systems.

Diameter scale

Ø 48 mm | Ø 60 mm | Ø 120 mm // elective: luminescent size Ø 60 mm

Tube Systems

·         One-tube system | The one-tube system warranties the easiest procedure and fast change of cuffs.

·         Twin-tube system | The reliable twin-tube system directs the pumping action of the inflation light bulb damped to the manometer. The increasing cuff pressure is indicated without pointer overshoot.

·         2-in-1-pipe system | The 2-in-1-pipe system that was copyrighted by boso has only 1 apparent tube, the next being integrated in the exterior one. Thus for the very first time, all benefits of the twin tube system become a member of in one pipe: the pumping impulse of the pressure light bulb is business lead damped to the manometer, making certain the increasing cuff pressure is indicated without pointer overshoot.

·         Cuffs

The right cuff is very important to reliable measurement results. Therefore, boso offers a distinctive collection of cuff sizes for any arm circumferences – from newborns to obese patients.

Velcro and hook cuffs

·         Latex-free, on request

·         Washable Velcro cuffs, on request

·         The appropriate cuff size for each arm circumference:

Standard: Adults | Standard | 22 – 32 cm

Optional available: Adults | XL-size | 33 – 41 cm

Adults | XL-size (thigh) or special proportions | from 41 cm

Children | 14 – 21 cm

Infants | 8 – 13 cm

Manual Blood Pressure Monitor – Newborn | under 8 cm

Mean mercury and aneroid systolic and diastolic BPs were highly correlated. For the whole group, there is no factor in mean systolic BP using the aneroid device, but there is a −1.53 ± 5.06 mm Hg difference in mean diastolic BP. When stratified by age group, a lesser diastolic BP (−1.78 ± 5.2 mm Hg) was observed in those ≥10 to 18 years using the aneroid device. No distinctions in systolic BP were noticed, and there have been no distinctions in BP by device in individuals <10 years. Regression analyses didn’t identify any explanatory factors. Although a little discrepancy between diastolic BP measurements from aneroid versus mercury devices is available, this deviation is improbable to be medically significant, recommending that either device could be utilized in research or scientific settings.
