In the production activities of the enterprise, equipment maintenance is an important measure to ensure the safe operation of the equipment, and is an effective means to restore the technical performance of the equipment, remove the trouble and eliminate the hidden trouble, and prolong the service life of the equipment. China's equipment maintenance industry started relatively late, there are still many technical problems in the maintenance. These problems will lead to low-rise equipment maintenance quality,poor equipment reliability, and even the occurrence of major equipment accidents.

Problems existing in equipment maintenance methods

1.Equipment maintenance can not correctly judge and analyze the fault, it is common to blind large-scale demolition and unload phenomenon.

Some maintenance personnel are not clear about the mechanism of the equipment and its mechanical structure, not analyzed carefully the failure causes ,can't judge the fault location accurately,on the basis of the idea of "probably, almost" blindly demolish and unload the equipment. So that the problem cant be removed.And that,new problems arise as a result of poor maintenance skills and processes.If a station once appeared 120 kw diesel generator power is insufficient, machinery can not work fault. The repairman disassembled the pt fuel injection pump and the injector did not find the cause of the failure, replaced a fuel injection pump test, the fault is still. The final check fault is due to the internal impurities used in diesel oil, too much water caused. But this disassembly caused the performance of pt fuel injection pump to decline obviously, and the diesel generator power is insufficient. Therefore, after the failure of the machine, it is necessary to carry out the detection through the detection equipment; If there is no testing equipment, the most likely fault location can be determined by the traditional fault judgment methods and means, such as "ask, look, check, try" and combine the structure and working principle of the equipment. In the determination of equipment failure, the general use of "elimination method" and "comparison method", according to the simple to complex, first appearance and then internal, first assembly and then the order of components, do not "do not ask indiscriminately, blindly large-scale disassembly and unloading".  

2.The phenomenon of blind replacement of parts and components, and the phenomenon of "replacement repair" exist in varying degrees.

It is relatively difficult to judge and remove failure of equipment, some maintenance personnel always used the method of replacement test , regardless of the large parts and small parts, as long as they considered the spare parts may be cause the failure,a replacement would be tested. As a result, instead of troubleshooting, the parts that should not be replaced were replaced , and increased maintenance costs .

Some faulty parts can completely recover their technical performance by repair, such as generator, air compressor, blower, burner, gear pump and so on, which can be repaired without complex repair process. In the course of maintenance, the reason and position of the fault should be carefully analyzed and judged according to the fault phenomenon, the repair method should be taken to restore the technical performance of the parts that can be repaired, and the practice of blind replacement of parts should be eliminated.
