Woodland Hills houses approximately more than 1,400 students in 8th, 7th and 6th grade who go to school on a trimester basis. According to the school’s demographics records, 43% of the students are Hispanic, 48% are Caucasian and the rest are a combination of Filipino, Asian and African Americans. The statistics also show that 39% of the students are from the low-class families while 21% are learners of the English Language.

Although being a private school is different from the traditional public schools because they are operated by parents, educational entrepreneurs, educators and community leaders and are also independent.

There is a scale, Academic Performance Index (API), that varies from 200 to 1000 and whose purpose is to ensure that the schools do not perform below a certain limit set by the state. The average API target set by the state is 800, and no school is supposed to score below that.
