Talking about the Yojna, it will provide every homebuyer across the metropolitan city, Delhi.

Talking about the new schemes, it offers 12,072 houses varying from a wide range of sizes and types for HIG as well as LIG or High Income Group or Lower Income Group respectively. The house of Delhi Awas Mission happens to be parts of the scheme have been re-launched after the year 2014. Additions have been given to the buyers, despite unit sizes being same.

What are the features of Delhi Awas Yojana?

Mentioned below are the key features that Delhi Awas Mission consists of. Keep reading on and know the benefits of it.

·      The withdrawals come sans deduction – On the contrary to the housing scheme that was previously given, there will be no deduction on the application money when and if the applicant is seen withdrawing the money ahead of fifteen days from the drawing date. The deductions are applicable only when the allotted persons proceed with the withdrawal after their names are finalized. More to add, if withdrawals are made within a time span of 90 days, then 50% of the amount will get subtracted.

·        Emerging areas are focused – This Project is approved by Delhi Housing Society and providing homes in Delhi Smart City. These dwellings (if not all but most of them) are planned in the north-west, north-east, and the west of Delhi. Some of them include Jasola, Rohini, Narela, Sirsapur, so on and so forth. Choosing these places will help buyers be away from the clutter and chaos of a particular city.

·      There’s no Lock-in Period – The Delhi Awas Yojna 2019 comes sans any lock-in period, meaning that even if buyers tend to sell out the house after an immediate purchase, then they can safely do so. Unlike the previous housing scheme, it is more intriguing and comes without any problems for interested customers. Plus, this time the apartments aren't leasehold. Instead, they are freehold.

·    Lower Income Group (or LIG) is focused this time – As discussed aforementioned, there will be a total of 12,072 apartments under the Delhi Housing Scheme. Out of the entire figure, there will only be 87 houses for HIG (or High Income Group). The rest of the houses are exclusively for the LIG (i.e., for the Lower Income Group). Apart from this, 384 houses will be delivered for Economically Weaker Section (or EWC).
