Amitabh Bachchan: ‘A biopic on me will not succeed’

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan who has recently celebrated his birthday on 11 October, 2015 stated that the directors of the film should not make a biopic on his life as it will not do well at the box office.

The superstar of the Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan stopped the filmmakers to not to make a biopic on him as it will not run successfully and will be flop. When Amitabh is being asked about the biopic on him that has almost become the trend in the Bollyeood, he said: “I don't think a film should be made on me. I am not in that trend (biopic). I don't think I am capable of that. It will be a flop.”

The legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is well-known for his famous Bollywood movies like Zanjeer, Laawaris, Silsila, Coolie, Naseeb. He has made his Bollywood debut with Saat Hindustani. He chose such aesthetic roles in the movies that can easily amuse the audience. And this is for what he became more popular among the audience after making his role in Zanjeer. His old movies and the old Indian video songs have become more popular as they are being listened today as well.

Amitabh with the pessimistic note has also put another option in front of the filmmakers of making the biopic on the life of his father, Harivanshrai Bachchan (the writer as well as the poet).

“If someone wants to make a documentary on him, I am okay. But I don't think personally I would make one on him,” he added, “People have their own style. They do good work and inspire people in their own way. It is not fair to say who can take my place. I take inspiration from Dilip Kumar, Waheeda Rehman. Today, the youngsters look upto Salman, Shah Rukh, Aamir, Ranbir, Hritik Roshan.”
