The demand of energy due to the growth of population is reaching new heights. The production of energy using the fossil fuels is a major problem due to the amount of pollution as well as they are limited in nature. The growing pollution is a major problem which has made the people search for alternate sources of energy which helps in reducing pollution as well as saving the fossil fuels. They are available in plenty and are environment friendly too.

There are several alternative energy projects running in various countries to reduce the pollution as well as the dependencies on the fossil fuels. This includes researching for most of the renewable resources of the Earth and using techniques to extract energy which would cause less pollution. There are now many options for the alternate source of energy. To be precise there are as many as eight different type of energy that is being used today.

Solar energy as a renewable energy source

The most popular form of alternate energy is solar energy. Sunlight helps in the production of electricity. Solar energy is an efficient way to heat materials. With the help of appropriate equipment’s, many home applications can be used like the water heaters and solar cookers. It is also used to produce electricity in both small and large amounts. It is being used by many to reduce the electricity bills and be independent from the fuel economy.

Solar power is converting the sunrays into electricity using photovoltaic (PV) or using the concentrated solar power (CSP). The CSP system uses lenses and tracing systems to focus the sunray that is split into a larger area to a smaller area. The PV converts the fallen light into electricity using the photoelectric effect. The electricity thus generated is stored in the batteries which helps us in using them later. The popularity of solar energy has made the demand of lead acid battery manufacturer very high.

Usage of Battery in storing energy

The battery is such equipment where the electrical energy can be stored and then can be retrieved back for usage. The battery stores the energy in the form of chemical energy and then converts its back to electrical energy when required. Converting electrical energy into chemical energy by applying external source is known as discharging and the conversion of chemical energy to electrical energy is charging.

Working of a Battery

During the charging process, current is passed through it which causes the chemical changes inside the battery which absorbs the energy during their formation. When it is connected to a load, this chemical changes are reversed and the absorbed energy is released and supplied to the load. The main materials that is required for the construction of lead acid battery is Lead peroxide, Sponge lead and the dilute sulfuric acid.

Wind Energy also uses the battery for the storage of the electric energy. The wind turbine converts the kinetic energy into mechanical energy which in turn is converted to electric energy by a generator. renewable energy battery exporter has become a huge business success due to the awareness of the alternate source of energy.
