All You need to know about the naked street bikes
All-new FZ25 is a 250 cc naked street bike that has been launched in
India. This 250cc bike is air-cooled and fuel-injected engine delivering 20.69
BHP @ 8000 rpm and 20 Nm @ 6000 rpm. Formulated with the 5-speed gearbox, it
offers a mileage figure of 43 kmpl from the engine. It weighs nearly 148 kg
offering a relaxed riding seat height of 795 mm. Also, it has also the use of
LED headlight. Its major rivals are the TVS Apache RTR 200 and Bajaj Pulsar
RS200 in the price segment.
What are the different colour variants?
The different types of colour variants available for the naked street bikes
are Matt Black, Dark Matt Blue and Cyan Blue, all coming with the anti-lock
braking system. The estimated price of Yamaha FZ25 ABS is priced at INR
1,34,680 in India (Ex-Showroom). It comes with 2 years warranty or 30,000 km
(whichever is earlier).

bike is one of the best-naked street bikes for its price tag. It undercuts
other quarter-litre bikes by around INR 50,000 and performs exceptionally well.
This bike is mainly a 249cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder,
Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, Blue Core. It has a fuel injection system
with Air and Oil cooling features. It delivers 20.9 Hp and 20 Nm of torque. It
is a BS4 emission engine with wet sump lubrication with a compression ratio of
9.8:1.
Formulated with 5-speed gear, it offers you constant mesh with the
multi-disc clutch. The riding performance between 0-60 kmph acquires 3.37 secs
and of 0-100 kmph, it is 8.58secs. This ABS functional bike has 282mm hydraulic
single disc with a 2-pot calliper at the front brake and 220mm hydraulic single
disc with a single-pot calliper at the rear brake.
On the suspension side, the front and rear suspension acquire
telescopic forks and monoshock feature respectively. The instrument console
features are a fuel gauge, trip meter, tachometer, odometer, speedometer and
clock which are all digitalized.
