Bhasma is an important medicine in Ayurveda which is prepared through a calcination process of minerals, metals, and natural stones. In this process, all these elements are heated together at a very high temperature to get the oxides. The whole processing of bhasma is very complicated and it includes a series of detoxification processes, grinding the detoxified raw materials with several herbal juices, preparing small pieces of the mixtures, drying them up for heating, etc.
