All About IES/ISS 2015 Admit Card, Exam Pattern, Result
Union Public Service Commission will conduct Indian Economic Service (IES)/Indian Statistical Service (ISS) exam on 23rd May 2015. Purpose of this exam is to recruit grade IV officers in Indian Economic and Statistical services under the government of India. Application process for this competitive exam have been concluded. Now, UPSC will issue IES/ISS 2015 Admit Card to all those candidates whose application forms have been processed successfully. It is expected that UPSC will release IES/ISS admit card in April end or May starting.

IES/ISS admit card is the vital document as it is the proof of candidate’s identity and authenticity. Applicants will only be allowed to attempt IES/ISS exam if they will produce authentic admit card in the examination hall. Candidates must note that admit card also known as hall ticket will be available in online mode only which means they have to download it from the official website of UPSC.
Process of downloading IES/ISS 2015 Admit Card
Following are the procedural steps for downloading IES/ISS admit card.
1.Open the official website
2.Click on the specified link to download e-admit card of IES/ISS exam.
3.Enter the details such as date of birth, application form number/registration number. Details entered should be complete and correct.
4.Re-check the entered information and then click on “submit” option.
5.Consequent to above steps, IES/ISS admit card/hall ticket will be displayed on screen.
6.Download it and generate its print out for future reference.
Important- After downloading the IES/ISS 2015 admit card, candidates must ensure that photograph uploaded on it is clear. Incase if the hall ticket doesn’t show candidate’s photo or if the snap is not clear, then applicants must carry identical photograph along with government approved photo ID proof. Allowed photo id’s are as following.

Safekeeping of IES/ISS Admit Card
Since admit card serves as an important identification proof, candidates must preserve it in good health.No alteration or tampering should be done on it. If candidates possess unauthentic admit card, then their candidature will be put to an end.
IES/ISS Exam Pattern
It is mandatory for the candidates to understand the exam pattern before writing IES/ISS 2015. IES/ISS exam pattern defines the structure of the exam and details of it are given below.
1.IES/ISS written exam will carry 1000 marks.
2.It will consist of 6 subjects.
3.Time allotted for each subject is 3 hours.
4.General Studies and General English will be of 100 marks and remaining subjects will carry 200 marks each.
5.There will be negative marking for every wrong answer.
Candidates who will qualify the written test will be asked to participate in personality test round. Viva voice /personality test will carry a maximum of 200 marks.
IES/ISS 2015 Result
IES/ISS result will be disclosed via online medium. Candidates can check the result from the official website as and when it will be uploaded by UPSC. After the result is declared, UPSC will issue a merit list which will contain the names of those candidates who have acquired equal to or more than cut off marks.
