Launch GNS3, go to Edit > Preferences > IOS Image File, and choose the downloaded IOS image file.

Just click the New Image button, then the Browse button, and then locate the IOS image file you downloaded.

There is a compression level applied to IOS files automatically. When using GNS3, you may choose between using compressed or decompressed files. As a bonus, compressed files take up far less disk space and are simpler to organize. Keep IOS files in their uncompressed form by selecting the No option unless you have a compelling reason to do otherwise.

If the data extraction was inaccurate, choose the appropriate platform and chassis number from the menus. The name of the gadget may be changed as needed.

The data needs to be double-checked or updated, and to go forward, choose the Next option.

When we go to the following screen, we'll be able to choose the amount of RAM that this gadget uses. The minimal amount of RAM that should be used by the device is what the wizard allocates automatically. You may make changes if necessary, however.
