Alicia Vikander shows off her style credentials in chic black and white dress as she attends the star-studded Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week

Alicia Vikander is known for her preened and polished personal style.

And the gorgeous actress didn't disappoint as she joined stars at the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2016 show during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old, who stars in The Danish Girl alongside Eddie Redmayne, looked absolutely sensational in a chic black and white dress.

The blouse section of the ensemble featured a ruffled collar with intricate patterned prints and delicate lace trimmings.

And she flashed her lovely sun-kissed legs under the short hemline of the flared skirt, adding some height with a classy pair of heels from the French fashion house.

With her brunette tresses swept into a classy ponytail, Alicia drew further attention to her striking complexion with smoky eyes, tinted cheeks and a nude lip.

The pretty actress looked every inch the elegant style star as she posed outside before making her way into the star-studded fashion preview.

Once inside, she mingled with the likes of former Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr, American actress Michelle Williams and Vogue guru Anna Wintour.

Meanwhile, Alicia appears to have put recent split rumours to rest after she was recently pictured leaving a New York hotel with Michael Fassbender.

The couple reportedly ended their nine-month relationship but put on a united front at the Irish actor’s premiere for upcoming movie, Steve Jobs, on Saturday.

If the pair have actually gone their separate ways, there was clearly no animosity between the two as they appeared to be in high spirits before the film's screening.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for both Michael and Alicia, but has yet to receive any comment.

The rising actress and Oscar-nominated actor started dating at the start of the year after meeting on the set of The Light's Between The Ocean - filmed in New Zealand and Australia.

And following a string of happy public appearances over nine months, the couple were believed to have called time on their relationship last month.
