by Visa Consultant Immigration ExpertOn 20th
February, 2020 in its Fourth Express entry of 2020, the Canadian province of
Alberta, inviting applicant with a CRS score of 300 for a provincial nomination
for permanent residence in Canada. A total of 150 applicants were invite via
the Alberta PNP
(provincial nominee program) also known as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee
Program (AINP) with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores as low as 300, thus providing a pathway for immigrants to
make their way in to one of the most popular and economically stable,
progressive as well as culturally diverse province of Canada.
For gaining
entry in to Canada via this provincial nominee program you will not be required
to have any job offer in the province in order to be invited via the Alberta
Express Entry Stream. For this, they are not required to have any profiles in
the Federal Express Entry System. The Express entry system of Canada manages
the applications for three of the chief economic class immigration programs
such as Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and
Canadian Experience Class.
If as an applicant you are eligible for the Canada Express entry you will be assessed on human capital factors such as work
experience, education, official language proficiency, and age, based upon which
are endowed with a CRS score that ranks them against the Express entry pool of
candidates.
The applicants who manage to score the highest
are provided with an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence in Canada via Alberta PNP or via
regularly conducted Express Entry draws. The best part about getting nominated
via the Alberta Nomination Program is that they receive 600 CRS additional
points via the Express entry linked stream.
These additional points ensure that you will
receive an Invitation to Apply for Canadian permanent residence. If you are
applicant who has their profile made and put in to the Express Entry pool of
candidates with 300 CRS points and have acquired a provincial nomination, their
new CRS score will total up to 900 points.
These scores are
more than enough to qualify for an ITA in the subsequent Express Entry draw.
But if you need to get an ITA in the recent federal Express Entry draw, as
applicants you will be required to score a CRS score of 471.
To apply for Alberta PNP, you will be
required to work in an occupation that is present in their updated list of
occupations that is updated as per their local labor needs and requirements,
and also which supports the economic development and diversification priorities
of Alberta as a whole.
Along with this
there are other popular Canada provincial programs, one of which is Nova Scotia PNP which
invites skilled workers with the right blend of skills, work experience, age
and educational qualifications to come and settle there for the long term
through their diverse stream. Another noteworthy PNP is British Columbia PNP that invites a wide
array of workers, graduates and entrepreneurs.
