Airwheel S8 Saddle-Equipped Scooter, an Exclusive Transport for the Elderly
04, April 2016:
S8 saddle-equipped scooter is one of new-published electric scooters of
Airwheel on recent CeBIT. Its innovative figure and exquisite
craftsmanship attract a lot of guests on the show. I am also one of
guests on CeBIT. After detailed understanding and test riding, I
personally think Airwheel S8 saddle-equipped scooter must be an exclusive transport for the elderly people based comfortable riding experience and high riding safety.
When it comes to comfortable riding experience, Airwheel double-wheels electric scooter
has several advantages. Double riding mode comes very first. In other
words, people can choose a riding mode, standing-posture or
sitting-posture, according to their preference, which is quite fitted
for the physical characteristics of the elderly. The two adopted 10-inch
tyres are much more adaptable to many road conditions and enjoy much
better passing ability. Besides, the C-shape controlling shaft under the
saddle is helpful to offer better riding feeling and stronger loading
capacity. At the same time, such a controlling shaft is adjustable and
riders can regulate it to the suitable height, which also ensures
comfortable riding experience.
Speaking of riding safety, Airwheel S8 intelligent power scooter
relies on aerospace attitude control theory, fuzzy software algorithm
and gyroscope system to keep itself balanced. Then, riding becomes very
easy. As long as the elder people slightly lean forward or backward, the
scooter will move forward or slow down automatically. In the meantime,
it also has three protection systems as speed limit protection, low
battery protection and tilting protection.
Once the speed is over 18km/h, the front part of pedals will turn up
and leaning forward can’t realize speeding up, which prevents the
accidents caused by too fast speed. If the remaining battery is less
than 15%, the scooter will start to ring so as to avoid running out
halfway. During the climbing, the electric machine will stop working if
the tilting angle of scooter is over 45 degrees.
