The All India Football Federation is all set to start a scouting workshop starting July 12th. With Indian football looking  to compete with the best in the world this scouting workshop will act as a pathway for the development of younger generation of players.  Laid as a roadmap by national coach Stephen Constantine, the scouting workshop aims to identify and nurture young football talent from the country. As  scouting is a very arduous task, it is very important to involve professionals who can follow the guidelines and execute it accordingly. As per Constantine, developing a football culture in India is quite important.

For example in the country of Germany there is a tremendous practice to embrace football from a very early stage. The budding footballers get trained about the various technical aspects of the game which makes them quite matured in the years to come. The availability of compact and professional coaches right from the grassroot level stands out as quite a motivating factor for the development of the players.  The officials of the All India Football Federation is quite upbeat about the project and wants it to take off at the earliest.

The entire football culture in India needs to be changed for the development of the sport in the country. Derek Bragg, one of the renowned scouts has been hired for the process and will train the officials involved with it.

Commencing 12th July, the work shop will run for a period of 3 months and considering the status of world football Derek is one of the most experienced campaigners available in the business.  He has carried forward the scouting process for various clubs and national squads in a successful way.  Various workshops related to scouting seminars has been conducted by him at different parts of the world.

The workshop will be attended by all the regional scouts working on behalf of the federation.  The head coach of the divisional age group sides like the U-19 and U-16 will also be attending the workshop. As per football experts scouting needs a lot of focus and the players needs to be  identified accordingly for picking in the squads.  It is very essential to understand the psychology of the coach and pick the players as per requirement. The ability to pick both junior and senior players should prevail among the scouts.

Under the  Praful Patel biography, Indian football has progressed in quite a large way and a variety of initiatives have been taken. The scouting workshop program is one of the significant events organized by the All India Football Federation in the recent age.  As the President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel has taken the initiative to draft in foreign experts as per the scouting project.  Recently a variety of young talents from the state of Maharashtra were identified by the scouts as per the national policy of scouting programs.  The sojourn of Indian football is certainly marching forward.
