AICPA

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is a U.S. non-profit professional organization of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).The AICPA was founded in 1887, under the name American Association of Public Accountants.

The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants is the most influential body of professional accountants, combining the strengths of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

The U.S. auditing guidelines for private businesses, charitable organizations, and administrative, state, and local governments are established by the AICPA, which also sets ethical standards for the profession.

The AICPA's mission is to support the global industry's success, as well as the success of CPAs, CGMAs, and specialty credentials, by providing the most up-to-date information, resources, and advocacy, as well as by protecting the evolving public interest.

Miles Education X AICPA

Miles Education is the official channel partner of the AICPA in India. Miles provides both Classroom Training and Online Video Lectures for the students. Upon understanding concepts from live or pre-recorded lectures and making relevant notes and annotations on the Miles materials, it is recommended that the students solve the Learning Management System (LMS) questions. Consistent revision solving questions on the LMS will enable the student to be exam ready.

What is AICPA Inter?

The finance and accounting course known as the AICPA Inter Certificate Program significantly increases your chances of working in India for one of the Big 4 or public accounting firms with 4-5 LPA+. AICPA inter is a subset of the CPA review course. To increase role readiness for positions, the one-of-a-kind AICPA certificate program was developed in collaboration with experts in the field and public accounting firms like the Big 4.

Benefits of AICPA Inter:

  • Early enrollment to CPA: The program is fully aligned with the CPA curriculum and significantly increases your chance of passing the CPA exam on the 1st attempt.

  • Role-readiness: You will have an increased chance of getting a job with the Big 4, MNCs, or international accounting firms while you are pursuing your CPA. So you can earn (both experience and $) while you learn.

  • No 120 credit eligibility criteria: This means that even if you are a university student, you can kickstart your CPA journey (instead of waiting for your graduation). So when you go for campus placements in early Sem 6, you stand apart as a university graduate who is certified by AICPA.

  • No additional training fee: If you enroll with Miles for the AICPA Inter Certificate program, you will have continued access to your LMS and Miles support until you pass the CPA exams - there is no additional fee that you need to pay to Miles.

  • No experience required for certification: Unlike CMA which requires 2 years of work-ex for certification.

I found Varun sir's lectures very creative and very detailed where one can easily understand from a student's perspective. This motivated me to pursue CPA from Miles.”
