Aggie Athletic Foundation To Hold 16th Golf Fundraiser For Student Scholarships

North Carolina A&T State University is ready to take Aggie Athletics to the next level. On June 21, 2024, the DC Aggie Golf Classic will bring golf enthusiasts and supporters of NCAT's athletic programs to Oak Creek Golf Club for a day of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and philanthropy.

Bolstering Athletics At The Nation's Number One HBCU

Dedicated to bolstering the athletic programs at NCAT, the number one HBCU in the country, the DC Aggie Athletic Foundation will be utilizing this year's event to raise more funds for the university's student-athlete scholarships.

The DC Aggie Golf Classic began as a small fundraising event on June 23, 2008. Over the past 16 years, this event has evolved into a celebrated tradition for the DC Aggie Athletic Foundation, supporting NCAT’s student-athletes through initiatives such as scholarships, academic counseling, tutoring programs, career counseling services, and the like.

The Upcoming 2024 DC Aggie Golf Classic

The 2024 DC Aggie Golf Classic will be a friendly four-person scramble for golfers of all skill levels, in which trophies will be awarded to the winning team. Participants of the golfing activities will also be able to compete for hole prizes, including honors for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Not a golfer? Not a problem. The organizers made sure that the event can be enjoyed by non-golfers looking to support NCAT's athletic programs, featuring activities inside the Oak Creek Clubhouse such as board games and cards.
