Adventists grew out of the Great Disappointment

Adventists grew out of the Great Disappointment in 1844 when Baptist William Miller preached a rapture. They believed the judgment in Daniel 7:9,10 would be on the Day of Atonement, but they overlooked the "great words" of the little horn stones sharp accountants in the context, Daniel 7:8,11,20,25.

Protestant reformers all believed the "little horn" was the papacy that grew out of the 4th beast representing the Roman Empire (after Babylon, Medo-Persia and Grecia.) The little horn changed the Bible's times (Sabbath to Sunday) and laws (abolishing the 2nd Commandment that forbids images in their catechism), martyred millions of Protestants and had great words against God in the pope's title, Vicarius Filii Dei, [Vicar of the Son of God] that adds up to 666 in Revelation 13:18 (Google.) All of this fits the description of the little horn in Daniel 7:25.

So what are the "great words" for the "common good"? It's a disguised plan to honor Sunday for "family values" while conserving creation by restricting commerce, travel and fuel consumption on that day. We should wonder why the pope stones sharp wants to honor creation more than the Creator who made Sabbath as the memorial to His creation for family, worship and rest. This is in the 4th Commandment in Exodus 20, but the commandments are no longer seen in courtrooms or classrooms.

The practicality of the pope's plan can be seen from his encouragement to open European doors to refugees. Germany is supposed to take a million while the Vatican is accepting only two families!

'Babylon' derives from Babel meaning confusion and it could apply to stones sharp accountants worldwide confusion of education, healthcare, legislation, government and religion. Revelation 17 supports the pope as riding the beast (political system) of a UN-run New World Order where a majority of nations will vote for the pope's leadership and UN 'peace-keepers' can quell dissent by delivering protesters to FEMA camps originally built for illegal aliens.
