Advantages of Traveling With A Kosher Tour Group

by Kosher River Cruise Kosher Tour Operator
Traveling alone can be an exhilarating experience. You basically have the freedom to go wherever you want whenever you wish as long as your budget and schedule allows for it. But being a lone tourist can also be dangerous especially if you are still lacking in travel experience.

Being a Jewish traveler can be doubly difficult. There are some places in the world that are still not as accepting of Jews and can make staying there a troublesome, if not dangerous, ordeal. Not to mention there is also the issue of finding places that offer kosher food. While there is the choice of cooking your own food, having a taste of local cuisine sounds far more appealing, doesn’t it?

Fortunately, a reliable option exists: the kosher touring group. What are some of the benefits of joining one on your next vacation?

Food

There are many countries today that have Chabad houses that can offer you a place to eat and stay in. However, this can limit the number of places that you can visit, as not all cities have their own Chabad houses.

Kosher Food

A tour group, like a kosher cruise for instance, can provide you with filling kosher meals—they can even serve local foods with a kosher twist to them!

Safety In Numbers

As it is with any touring company, a kosher tour group provides you with a sense of security that you can’t find when traveling alone. There will always be a leader to give you guidance when things don’t go exactly as planned. And if you’ve made some friends in your group, then at least you can have someone to trust if something unfortunate happens, such as if you get separated from the others.

Convenience

People who travel by themselves are completely responsible of everything their trip entails—from taking care of lodging, their itinerary, finding a place to eat, and how they will be traveling from point A to B.

For some vacationers, this all sounds quite daunting, but when you’re with a tour, everything will be organized for you: where you will be staying, what time you will be heading to your destinations, your mode of transport, and so forth.

And with a Jewish group, you’ll also get more insights about the places you’ll visit, especially when they hold significant meaning to the Jewish people who are living—or once lived in—the area. A wonderful added bonus if you want to know more about your history, no?

So whether you’re going to venture out by yourself or sign up with a kosher touring group, remember to stay safe, travel smart, and don’t forget to enjoy your vacation!
