2015 proved to be a year worth remembering. Much like years that came before it, 2015 had its fair share of good and bad moments. For the automotive industry, 2015 was a year of new advances and promises for an exciting future. Shooting ahead to become a trail-blazer for the year, the Acura TLX had great success. From the rugged terrain of Utah to the swamps of Florida, Acura consistently proves that it is a leader in the auto industry.

A Jump in Sales

For Acura as a whole, 2015 was sensational. One only has to look at acuraconnected.com to see how good sales were for the year. The website reported that the parent company set a new all-time sales record, beating its previous record set in 2007.

One featured model is the TLX. 47,080 models were sold for the year, a 145.3 percent increase in the daily selling rate from 2014. Overall sedan sales were also up by more than 18 percent for 2015—not as impressive of a jump, but an increase in sales nonetheless. More and more Acura models continue to be sold every day, in Utah as well as elsewhere. This is good news for both the auto industry and consumers alike.

A Cut Above the Rest

It is clear from the research that more and more people are realizing just how much quality work is involved in an Acura. The sales increase of the TLX makes it clear that the automaker must be doing something right. In these times, people need a quality vehicle that will get them their money’s worth and then some. Time and time again, Acura continues to produce a quality machine that will perform effortlessly on a daily basis, in Utah and across the country. One can only look forward to the future in anticipation to see what new improvements Acura will roll out in 2016.
