SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2015 – The SBI Clerk 2015 Eligibility Criteria will specify the rules and norms which must be satisfied by all the applicants in order to be eligible for exam and recruitment process later on. It will enlist the number of conditions which must be completely satisfied. Leaving even a single condition under SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2015 will make the subject INELIGIBLE for the exam and recruitment process.

The eligibility criteria will have conditions related to the nationality, academic requirement, and age limit. All the candidates are advised to apply for the exam if and only if all the conditions of eligibility are satisfied by them. If they fill the form despite being ineligible as per the Eligibility Criteria of SBI Clerk 2015 Exam, they shall be rejected and the fee submitted by them till the stage of detection will be forfeited.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2015 – Details:

Clause 1 – Nationality:

  • The candidate must be an Indian National.
  • If the candidate is not an Indian national, he or she will NOT be eligible for the recruitments.

Clause 2 – Age:

  • The candidates’ age should be in between 20 and 28 years if they want to be considered for recruitments.
  • The upper age window has been relaxed for the candidates of various reserved categories which are mentioned in the following section:
SC or ST: 5 years

PWD (Gen): 10 years
OBC: 3 years
PWD (OBC): 13 years
PWD (ST/SC): 15 years
J&K domiciles in between 1.1.1980 and 31.12.1989: 5 years

Divorced Women, Widows, and women who are judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried later: 9 years (given that their age is less than 35 (General), 38 (OBC), and 40 (ST, SC))
As per the Eligibility Criteria of SBI Clerk 2015, the upper age has also been relaxed for the Ex-servicemen and Disabled Ex – Servicemen. The relaxation will be 3 years PLUS actual service period rendered in defence. This relaxation has been made 8 years for the disabled ex-servicemen of SC/ST category given that their age is not more than 50 years.

Clause 3 – Educational Qualification:


  • The candidate must have completed Graduation from a university which has been recognized by the State or Central Government. According to the Eligibility Criteria of SBI Clerk 2015 the candidates who are in the final year of the course of graduation will also be eligible for the recruitment process.


  • All the candidates are however required to submit their final result till 31.08.2015. If they are not able to submit their results till then, they shall not be allowed to proceed with the recruitment process.
