Take a spiritual pilgrimage to Muktinath Temple, which is situated in the Mustang region deep within the Himalayas at 4000m. The Muktinath Darshan Tour follows a stunning route through the mountains and is joined with panoramic views that unfold as you pass on. Favoured by the Hindus, it is called Mukti Kshetra, or 'land of deliverance,' and has been taken as Nepal's oldest temple honoring Lord Vishnu. This reflects strongly upon the dominance in Nepal of Vaishnava belief.

One of the eight holiest places and abodes of God, Muktinath is mentioned with Srimushnam, Srirangam Totadri Naimisharanya Divya Desan, Badrinath. Tirupati location has great spiritual gravity in a short time for such holy honourable place name. In addition, it is included among the 51 Shakti Pitha goddess sites.

As soon as you enter the grounds of Muktinath Temple, there appears a simple building. A gilded statue of Lord Vishnu (Shri Mukti Narayan) holds pride of place inside. Buddhist nuns and monks help worship bronze statues of such Hindu deities as Bhoodevi, Saraswati, Janaki, Sapta Rishis and Lava-Kusa. Outside are 108 bull's head-shaped stone faucets set a foot apart. Faucets are built seven feet high, allowing the water to flow from Kali Gandaki River for people to consume or sprinkle on themselves as a sacred source of fixation.

If you wish to join this divine pilgrimage, take a look at the Tour to Muktinath Temple and experience life's spiritual journey.

Tour to Muktinath Temple by chartered helicopter:

From within the Kathmandu airport, you can take a chartered helicopter to provide as Darshan for Muktinath Temple.

Soaring over the giant mountains, you can find both the best and most scenic overlooks along with views of people's homes looking from overhead like some pretty toys. This helicopter ride is extending for 1 hour 30 minutes and concludes at the Muktinath Temple, once done with the puja and other spiritual activities in the temples accompanied.

After exploration of the temples and completing all their other religious practices, you'll head back to Kathmandu along a direct route via Pokhara in that very same helicopter.  Kathmandu is the hub from where you can get the both sided services from these helicopters. Since, a chartered helicopter is capable of carrying the weight of 5-6 passengers at a single point of time, if yours is a family of the same number of people then I would highly recommend you to indulge the ride in a private chartered helicopter.

What is the Best Time to Visit Muktinath Yatra ?

The best season to tour to Muktinath Temple is in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when clear weather prevails, and temperatures are mild. The months are perfect for trekking and pilgrimage. Visitors can view the scenery during this period, and they don't have to fear severe weather-related hardship.

In spring, the blooming rhododendron brightens up things a little while in autumn one can get crisp and clear views of Himalayan peaks. The rainy season falls in monson (June to August), and the winter temperatures are low, so these seasons may not be ideal for comfortably enjoying one's visit to this former site of consecration.
