A silenced sniper is not the fortnite materials most exciting addition to the game, as it seems inevitable that"heavy" and"silenced" versions of virtually every weapon will arrive at the match at a certain stage (still waiting on that No Country for Old Men silenced shotgun to arrive), therefore this is not a massive surprise, particularly since this particular weapon was rumored for months now.

I believe Fortnite was probably hoping to spice up things a little bit more with the introduction of Mythic weapons during the season to combine the Infinity Blade, and yet that notion crashed and burnt within days of launch, and Epic has had to return to the drawing board to try to find out what to do with Mythics, should they do anything with them whatsoever. So that means more additions to the game like silenced sniper rifles, I guess.

I would search for this to be Fortnite Items for sale added early next week in the new patch, even though patch day has been jumping around quite a bit as of late. I am curious to try it out, but I can not imagine it's going to be that much different than the usual bolt-action. We'll see, I guess.
