Image Iconic and accolade-winning, the Sydney Showground is an events precinct housing around 22 different venues for a wide range of activities, such as conferences, large exhibitions, concerts, galas, dinners, speaking and incentive events and festivals. The Southee Pavillion, a quite recent addition, provides an extra indoor space for exhibition that spans over an area of 10,000 square metres. Another prominent feature of the Showground is the Dome, which offers an exhibition space of 21,600 square metres.

Among the 22 venues in the Sydney Showground, some of the most popular ones are as follows:

Spotless Stadium

The Sydney Showground Stadium, also known as the Spotless Stadium, covers an area of 18,000 square metres and is used for hosting concerts, sporting events, corporate entertaining programs and festivals. Some of the main features include 8 hospitality rooms with unobstructed views of the meadow, VIP bar and catering facilities, and the biggest stadium screen in Southern Hemisphere.

Sydney Royal Stables

The Sydney Royal Stables features an exotic space inside a classic Australian building with exposed beams of timber, hardwood floors, natural light, and bar and kitchen facilities. The place is suitable for cocktail parties, private functions, weddings, breakfasts, dinners and awards night.

Charles Moses Stadium

This stadium can accommodate around 3000 people with its tiered seating, making it ideal for special outdoor events like sporting competitions, product launches and intimate plays or concerts. The various facilities include PA system, viewing areas, video board and corporate boxes.

The Dome

This magnificent structure made from timber is the biggest clear span space in the whole of Sydney. The Dome is a marvellous backdrop for events of all kinds, and features a fabulous kitchen, rigging and air conditioning capabilities. The place is frequently used for hosting cocktail parties, dinners, exhibitions, conferences, film shoots, product launches, meetings, trainings and seminars.

Wynne Pavilion

Inspired by the Exhibition Halls and Domes and being architecturally exotic, the Wynne Pavilion features a built-in kitchen and plenty of natural light. This venue is ideal for small-scale events like product launches and retail sales.

Howie Complex

The Howie Complex comprises two levels featuring direct access with vehicle by ramp and ceiling to floor glass windows that allow the entry of natural light. The ground level opens onto an outdoor landscaped area capable of accommodating 1,100 people with tiered seating. The venue lies right next to the Charles Moses Stadium and is perfect for cocktail parties, exhibitions, film shoots, conferences and dinner.

Apart from getting a wide scope for entertainment, one can also find plenty of lodging facilities offering budget accommodation near Showground. In fact, some of the most congenial and affordable ones are not more than 7 kilometres away from the place.
