Dead Zones pose a risk to safety in the mountains and at sea
Every year, more than 20,000 people disappear in the open sea or in the mountains, because no one noticed the emergency situation of these people in time or their position was unknown. Only 10% of the earth's surface is covered by mobile networks. Only there you can send an emergency call by cell phone.

In the open sea the situation is even more dramatic for a single athlete. There is no cellular network. A connection is possible only by satellite. Emergency equipment for individual athletes meeting the requirements for water sports has not been available so far.

A*LIVE sends a Bluetooth ping every second, which can be located within 10 meters of the A*LIVE app, even if the seeker does not have an A*LIVE device.
