A List of Bharat Sarkar Yojana for Middle Class

by Mohit Sethi Journalist

The Modi Government came into power in 2014 and since then it has launched many schemes and initiated many plans for the wellbeing of the people and the nation as a whole. Not only did it introduce new ones, but also restructured the old schemes in such a way that they turned out to be more productive and beneficial. It's a list that's too big and we are grateful that it was actually presented to us because it changed how people thought and acted. These initiatives come under the common name Bharat Sarkar Yojana i.e. the proposals for a good India. Here’s a list of Bharat Sarkar Yojana for the middle-class people.

Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme:

This scheme was initiated in West Bengal. The motivators ensured that young girls pursue their education without the burden of getting married before the age of 18. It aims at encouraging the importance of education for girls and how getting them married at a young age can destroy their bright future. It aims at increasing the scope and dimension of thoughts of the people in underdeveloped areas.

National Nutrition Mission:

National Nutrition Mission was launched as an extension of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao programme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Indian state of Rajasthan at Jhunjhunu on March 8, 2018.  This scheme worked towards enriching the nutritional status of children from 0-6 years and adolescent girls. It spreads awareness about how important the nutrition of children is for their progress and there is no reason to keep them deprived of this value. Every child born has the right to good health and it should not be deprived to them at any cost.

Samagra Shiksha Scheme:

Bharat Sarkar launched this scheme to improve the quality of education at different levels of school in India. It was also meant to introduce digital technologies in schools so that both the students and teachers find it easy to access resources that are otherwise very difficult to achieve. The annual grant of a certain amount was fixed for improving the maintenance of libraries in schools or to establish new ones in schools, which don't already have one. As the name suggests, it implies equal educational opportunities to all the students studying in different levels of schools across the country.

Atal Bhujal Yojana:

The Modi Government touched every aspect of the problems of the people, the land and the environment. This scheme, which was launched to prevent depletion of groundwater levels, was very effectively implemented. Preparation of bottled water involves extracting water from the local water supplies, which in turn leads to the reduction in the underground water levels in the nearby areas. Therefore, there was a requirement for such a plan, which looks forward to rejuvenating the surface water bodies and ensures effective use of water by involving people at the basic level.

Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao:

This scheme was the most important among all the Bharat Sarkar Yojana schemes and the Pradhan Mantri Yojana schemes as it created a high level of awareness among the local as well as the urban crowd. Women and girls have always been kept under the dark and away from all privileges, which otherwise every man or boy could enjoy. It was a powerful campaign launched in support of girl education and to prevent female foeticide. It aimed to make people believe that no gender is superior and equality should exist.

Girls should have their own liberty of action and shouldn't be stopped from achieving what's theirs. The campaign received a lot of support and appreciation because it was a very beautiful thought put forward by our Prime Minister.

The middle-class people are the ones who are most affected and hence the Bhartiya Yojana worked a great deal towards supporting them. We saw a lot of visible change around us due to the establishment of various schemes meant for the welfare of the people in some way or the other. Some were capable of touching the lives of the people, while some couldn't perform that well due to poor implementation. However, we see this as a shining light in the future because the change has started and it's unstoppable.

We can only expect these campaigns to reach more people so that they gain an insight into the problems prevailing in the society. This can only happen when we, as people, decide to take small steps towards this. Bharat Sarkar Yojana is a list full of positive revolution and we hope that it only gets better utilized with time.
