A Guide to ‘Teach to One’ Learning Model

by Shawn William Creative Writer

We are in an era where we look for more advancement and modernism in every aspect of our lives. The educational system has also been improved from the past few years. Newer learning models and equipment are invented to support the students in every phase.

It is not surprising to implement the advanced framework in the educational system for the betterment of students. ‘Teach to One’ is such an innovative form of advanced learning model that has brought new thoughts in education.

Teach to One is a personalized procedure where the students can leverage their unique learning style with potential. It is a method where the educators or teachers dedicate themselves physically to instruct a smaller group of students who are working on a particular skill.

Math is the main focusing subject in this method that helps each student to capture the base skills and improve the challenging tasks later using the base skills. Students get to enter into a personalized math zone with particular types of activities.

This platform allows students to gain different skills, including social interaction, computer skills, etc. Students learn things via group activities, assignments, and group lessons that are mostly computer-based.

This method is effective for the students because they make their own ways to learn about a particular topic. After entering the math zone, they know where to begin lessons, how long to stay, and where to submit the assignments or other given tasks.

There is a task named “exit interview”, which is similar to a quiz session that determines how the students have learned their daily lessons. If the students can attend this session successfully, new topics are given for the following day. And if the students fail to make the session successful, the same topic is highlighted in the next day once again.

This learning style makes the students more engaging and interested in the toughest topics, as well. It is an effective way of learning math as well as other subjects. However, educators should have the required training to implement this learning method in the educational system.
