The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a system of support for impaired people, their families and carers. The NDIS is jointly administered and funded by the Australian Government and participating state and territory governments.
The NDIS will primarily consist of an individualised package of support for eligible NDIS participants. They receive individualised support when the NDIS is fully implemented.
