Right to Education is a basic right provided by our constitution to every individual of the country irrespective of their gender, caste or place of birth. The girl child of the country is being denied from obtaining their basic rights. Education is a first step towards establishing equality and basic respect towards girls in the society.

0ne in four children are out of school, majority of them are girls of primary school age. Every year more than one million girls drop out of school than boys because a family can afford only one child’s education and most of the times a boy is selected to be educated over a girl and the girl is forced to work and support the economy of the family. The main reason the girl is denied and kept away from obtaining education is poverty.

Dr. Nowhera Shaik a leading successful entrepreneur (CEO of Heera Islamic Business Group) being a woman herself recognized problems faced by girls in the society where they can’t read, write and raise their opinions. A girl is denied getting a basic education due to poor financial problems of family.

Dr. Nowhera Shaikh realized society’s ignorance towards girls and started educating girls at the early age of nineteen by teaching them Islamic education and from then on, there was no looking back for Dr. Nowhera Shaik.

Dr. Nowhera Shaik made it her life’s mission to provide equal education rights and opportunities to every girl child in the country. Dr. Nowhera Shaik established a fully equipped school mainly focused on educating a girl free of cost and even providing hostel facilities to make the family less burdened about girl education.

Dr. Nowhera Shaikh formed All India Mahila Empowerment Party, with the main motive to fight for girl education, empowerment and upliftment of women, and abolishing child labour from the country.

Dr. Nowhera Shaik strong determination and dedication to strongly stick to her values and mission towards making every girl child educated and independent, has made thousands of girls gain knowledge and be independent in the society.

Dr. Nowhera Shaikh is continuing her noble work with the All India Mahila Empowerment Party.
