Now, this is the most involved process, and the following requirements include:
    New Zealand residence
    At least 16 years of age
    Physically present in New Zealand for at least 1350 days during the five years of your application, and for at least 240 days in each of those five years.
    Ability to read and write English
    Of good character
    Willing to live in New Zealand if granted the citizenship.

Applying for New Zealand Citizenship

After meeting all the requirements for citizenship, all that is left is to apply for the citizenship. In order to do this, simply complete the application form, and lodge it, along with all photographs, documents and fees, with the citizenship office.
