•    Big, firm, sore lumps underneath the surface of the skin (nodules)

•    Hurting, pus-filled lumps under the surface of the skin (cystic lesions)

Many times people opt for home remedies so that they can ditch body acne. Self-care or home remedies don’t always help you to get rid of acne. If self-care remedies do not seem to be efficient, then consult a dermatologist as soon as possible before it gets worse. Your doctor can prescribe medication to uproot your acne problem.

In women, generally, acne starts appearing before menstruation. Generally a week before periods, acne start appearing on the skin. This type of acne will diminish or clear out as soon as your periods end. Generally, treatment is not required for such acne. For healthy-looking skin, it is really necessary to follow a skin care routine.
