Member Nations of
ICC:
The members of International Cricket Council are majorly divided
into three heads. These are as follows:

Full
Members: Full Members of the association are the governing bodies that play
international test matches. These include 10 nations, namely India, Australia,
South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, West Indies, England
and New Zealand.
·
Associate
Members: There are 39 associate members of the International Cricket
Council. These are the nations where cricket has firmly established its roots,
but they have not been granted the Full Membership by the board.
·
Affiliate
Members: There are 56 governing bodies in cricket where the ICC has
recognized the respect for cricket, according to the Laws of the Cricket.
Bangladesh was the last among those who were granted full
membership of the organization, in the year 2000. Recently, ICC has recognized
the capability of nations such as Ireland, Scotland and Afghanistan and is
making plans to offer them the test playing status.
