- Teachers’ Day 2024:
India celebrates Teachers' Day annually on 5th September, marking the
birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered scholar and
the second President of India. On this occasion, President Droupadi Murmu
presented the National Teachers' Awards to honor 82 exemplary educators
for their significant contributions to society.
- Launch of Vishvasya-Blockchain Technology Stack: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology
(MeitY) launched the Vishvasya-Blockchain Technology Stack, a platform
that offers Blockchain-as-a-Service to facilitate secure and reliable

- India’s Historic Paralympic Gold: Harvinder Singh became the first Indian archer to win
a gold medal in the Paralympics, clinching victory in the men's individual
recurve open category. India continued its stellar performance at the 2024
Paris Paralympics, adding multiple medals in athletics and archery.
- Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha introduces Zero Hour: Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha has decided to
introduce Zero Hour during its monsoon session, allowing for discussions
on urgent matters of public interest. This parliamentary innovation
enables legislative bodies to address important issues without the
restrictions typically associated with question hours.
