2.     Roll Back Windows 10 Upgrade to Previous Windows Version

Microsoft gives users 30 days from the day you upgraded to Windows 10 to roll back to your previous version of Windows like 7 or 8/8.1. When you upgrade from operating system 7 or 8.1 to OS X, the software retains a copy of your old OS just in case you want to revert it back. When you are upgrading Windows 10 in your system, the previous Windows files are automatically stored in C:\Windows.old folder. This folder is kept by Windows only for 30 days. After 30 days duration Windows 10 will automatically delete this folder. So you can restore your previous Windows version only within these 30 days after your Windows 10 upgrade.  However, if you are happily running Windows 10 OS and don't want to roll back, you're left with at least 15GB of wasted space on your hard drive, all of it stored in a folder called Windows.old.
