·       There is a use of yellow and red colours in the logo of McDonald

Always remember that your brand value correlates with your brand colour.

Along with this, it is also important for the owner of any business website to pick a color scheme for his site that is right for his business branding. Now I am going to give you 7 tips to choose a stunning website color scheme.

1.Learn how the colors influence the emotions of the people – The people who stay at different geographical locations may have a different color choice. As an example, the Indian shoppers may not like the CTAs present in those colors that the American shoppers like. So, you have to use colors in your website CTAs according to those geographical locations where you want to sell items.

2.Give importance to your target demographic – You have to sell the services and products of your company to your target demographic. So, when choosing the color scheme for your site you need to think about your target audience’s emotions and personality. The selection of your website’s primary color needs to be according to your target demographic.

3.Think about gender – A few businesses sell the products and services to a particular gender only. The owner of these businesses will surely like to know about the colors that the ladies and gents like or dislike. Gents usually don’t like purple and brown colors but the blue color is the color of their choice. Ladies usually don’t like orange and brown colors but purple and blue colors are the colors of their choice.

4.Give consideration to the age group – The people of different age groups usually have different choices of colors. So, in your demographic, you need to give consideration to that age group of people whose count is comparatively more than others.

5.Make your decision about the number of colors that you want to use – Sometimes it is very difficult to reach a decision about the number of colors that you like to use. In this situation, if you will follow the 60 – 30 – 10 rule then it can prove to be very helpful to you. Now you may be thinking what is this rule? Let me explain it to you. As per this rule, you will use:

·       A dominant color in an amount of 60 %

·       A secondary color in an amount of 30 %

·       An accent color in an amount of 10 %

According to this rule, 10 % of website space will be occupied by the accent color, 30 % by secondary color and 60 % by primary color.

6.Pick the set of colors that is right for your site – You have to pick a set of colors for your site that makes it aesthetically appealing. Some people want to have a dark foreground and a lighter background. As per your business, you have to choose the set of colors that suits your site the best.

7.Look what color scheme your competitors use – If you will look at the color scheme that your competitors use then this will help you in deciding the right color scheme for your site. After looking at the color schemes of 2 to 3 competitor sites you have to decide which combination of colors is perfect for your site.

In order to leave a lasting impression on the visitors of your site, it is very important that your Website Design is outstanding. So, you have to carefully choose the right color scheme for your site.
