If sudden stops and starts are not your cup of tea, you would likely not like to be on a flight landing or taking off from this, the shortest commercial runway in the airline industry. It is surrounded by the most treacherous of rocky cliffs, making a safe landing feel like a cause for rejoicing.

Even if you plan to spend most of your vacation drinking margaritas on a beach chair, a Caribbean cruise is the easiest way to see all the beauty of the islands and the sea around you, but snorkeling is the easiest way to see the beauty beyond the surface. You will never forget experiencing the Caribbean in a more in depth way. Cozumel, located on the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico is known for having some of the best snorkeling around,with a lot of very beautiful things to be seen that cannot be experienced anywhere else.


5. You Can Drive Through a Volcano


If your cruise makes a stop at Saint Lucia, you have to visit the drive through volcano. It is a little unnerving to be so close to a volcano, but it is definitely daring and not likely to be something you will have another chance at.


6. One of the World's Hottest Chilis is Native Here


Whether you have a bet going with friends, or you simply have a culinary interest, checking out the moruga scorpion chili, native to Trinidad. It is one of the hottest chilis around, and grows naturally, organically on this small island nation.


7. You Can Ride an Ostrich


The ostrich is such a ridiculous bird, being so tall and ill proportioned and flightless, they are definitely an odd creature. In Curacao, you can ride one. There is an attraction called Curacao Ostrich Farm where you can play with some of the animals, and if you fall within their weight guidelines, you can even ride one.
