6 Gorgeous Mehndi and Jewellery Designs We Spotted On Real Brides

by krishna kant sharma SEO

I have been obsessed with mehndi since I  was little and I have always fantasized about what my  mehndi design would be like for my wedding, yes I know I was a child and blah blah but you can’t blame a cute little kid for having dreams!

I  used to love the odour of the henna after it was washed, I literally would sniff out until there was no odor left, though, times have changed and I am no longer a diehard fan of the after wash odour but one thing is certain that my love for mehndi is still the same, the beautiful designs, the color of the henna, accessories that make the design stand out, so many things to decide and so many options to choose from!

So, I decided to write a blog to help my dear brides to be or anyone who is obsessed with mehndi like I am to at least have an idea of the huge variety of mehndi designs and jewellery designs there are in the market!

I have curated 6 gorgeous mehndi jewellery designs that were spotted on real brides, some of them were bookmarked on Instagram, some of them were screenshots from google and the types, let’s take a look!

Floral Customized bridal mehndi design

This type of mehndi design has been the trend lately, specially the customized sketch of the bride and the groom. It seems creative and what I really like about this is that there is symmetry maintained amidst all the art going on. The details are intricate and delicately emboldened which amplifies the whole art.

On the other hands, faux pearls with intricately patterned gota jewellery would do wonders to the whole look keeping in mind the symmetry of the mehndi.

Pro tip: The important thing to understand here is the contrast of jewellery and mehndi that we should go for, if the mehndi is symmetric or has a mandala embedded then we should opt for some simple jewellery and definitely not the circular or symmetric kind.

Mandala mehndi design with floral anklets

I believe that mandala mehndi design on feet looks mesmerizing and minimalistic at the same time.

I personally don’t like too much mehndi on feet, especially when the artist just fills the entire feet with mehndi with absolutely no space!

It just looks too much, this is the reason I prefer mandala art, it’s gorgeous, minimalistic, detailed and with just the right amount of space! Nothing would make the feet more gorgeous than these floral anklets.

Floral bridal mehndi design with pink and gold patterned gota jewellery

This particular henna design is not as common or trendy as the others in this blog, I have not seen many designs like these but this one right here is so captivating to the human eye, it’s simply beautiful.

Space in bridal mehndi designs is not usually appreciated but I know the impact of the space that has been given in the design is reflecting its overall like-ability.

I love the way the artist has combined just two patterns and in fact given preference to the floral pattern which increases the contrast between the two.

To pair this with your mehndi outfit I would recommend gota jewellery above any other jewellery simply because it looks attractive and vibrant with the added bonus of being inexpensive.

Asymmetric bridal mehndi design with floral and faux pearls gota jewellery

I recently came across this asymmetric mehndi design and I am glad to tell you guys that I am proud to have discovered it, maybe a little late but atleast I did!

I have been a fan of the trendy criss cross pattern that took all the mehndi ceremonies by rage but this design is a fusion of the traditional and the modern mehndi designs which according to me looks amazing!

Pair your mehndi outfit with some really pretty and elegant floral gota jewellery with strings made up of faux pearls and be ready to rock everyone’s World!

Mandala mehndi design with a twist !

Lately, I was scrolling through my instagram feed and I came across this enchanting mehndi design.

The best thing about this design is that it’s not a mandala originally, yes it looks like one but a mandala art is supposed to be circular and that too a perfect circle and this is more like a square which is why the heading!

I love how spacious this particular design is but on the fingers it is  detailed, even the faux mandala itself is detailed as well as the art beneath the mandala.

Now moving on to the jewellery part, I know the dress looks stunning as well but this blog deals with jewellery and mehndi only and I don’t want to be distracted, but here we go again…

Anyway, the pink floral jewellery is minimalistic and looks refreshing similar to what yellow floral jewellery would look like. I think, to minimise the drama going on with the mehndi and the dress, this minimalistic jewellery does a really good job.

Traditional bridal mehndi design with a golden leaf string jewellery

I have always loved a traditional bridal full hands mehndi design because it looks incredible! The patterns, the flowers, the symmetry, it’s all in here! There is no beating this mehndi design, it’s so beautiful, it hits all the right places!

To top it off, pair your mehndi outfit with some emboldened or real golden leaf structured jewellery like shown in the picture, that maang tikka might just steal the show!

These were all the design ideas I wanted to share with the mehndi obsessed community and I hope this blog was able to entertain as well as help you with your dilemma! Toodles!
