In Palo Alto, California, there is a special garage where the groundwork for HP was laid. This is the location where the business truly began, and it's such a special place that it's officially been labelled a state historical landmark. Now a private museum, this garage is often referred to as the "birthplace of Silicon Valley." While the organization has grown exponentially since then, HP headquarters remain in the same city!
