visible to the audience on Google’s first page, and then do you think it’s even
worth it? A big NO!
From appearing on search results to get genuine clicks and
impressions, PPC has a major and vital role to play in getting paid business for your brand. There are
various reasons behind if your ads aren’t visible on Google.
To resolve such issues quickly, here is the list of 5 reasons that
you must know if your ads aren’t showing on Google.
1. Campaign Paused
Before you run any campaign on Google Ad Words, it's basic fundamental is to check whether the
Campaign or Ad Group status is active or paused. If the Campaign is paused,
then your Ad won’t be visible to your target audience on Google.
2. Ads Disapproved
Google has its own policy for text. If the text doesn’t adhere to
the policy, then chances are your ads can be disapproved. To check the status
of your ad’s approval, you can do it manually by simply clicking into the ads
tab and then check the status column. In the status column section, you will
get to know whether your ads are approved, disapprove or approve (limited). If
your ad isn’t approved by Google, then you can get details on the ad’s status by
clicking on the small question mark.
3. Keywords disapproved
Whenever you run a Google Ad Words campaign, Google reviews and
then approved the keywords that you have set in the campaign. If in any
scenario, your brand is advertising firearms, drugs, pornography, cigarettes,
alcohol, fireworks or more, then your ad will be disapproved. Keywords are also
analyzed and reviewed by the team of Google. You can check the keyword approval
too by clicking on the keywords tab and then status column.
4. Negative Keywords
Undeniably, negative keywords when added to campaigns are
beneficial to block undesired and unwanted traffic to your ads. However, one
has to be careful when using the right set of negative keywords as it can
nullify your keywords within any ad group. Therefore, review the list of
negative keywords and then activate the campaign.
5. Low search volume
If your PPC ads aren’t getting good impressions and clicks, then
it is possible that it has low search volume. Review the keywords that you have
set in the ad campaign and make sure that they don’t have low search volume. If
keywords have low search volume, then you can take help from the Google Ads
Keyword Planner for the related keywords that have higher search volume.
