5 Hookup Sites to Stay Away From

It seems like there is no end to the variety of hookup sites that are available nowadays. While most of them do offer some degree of success, there are still a few that should be avoided at all costs. After analyzing some of the hookup sites with the most traffic, we concluded that the following sites should be avoided.

1. HornyAffairs.com

This site has a reputation for being cluttered with fake profiles. They also utilize automated messages and third-party contractors to engage male members in conversation. This is done with the purpose of either getting them to upgrade to a paid subscription or to renew an existing one. Overall, this site is only interested in milking you for your money and offering next to nothing in return.

2. FlirtLocal.com

When you first encounter FlirtLocal, it appears to be a good site. It is fast and easy to register. However, once you log on to the member's area, you will notice that you will be unable to use any of the communication features on the site unless you upgrade. This site also uses fake profiles and automated messages to lure new users into upgrading. When you read the terms of service carefully, you will notice that they disclose all of their tactics, therefore, it's legal. Nevertheless, it does not remove the fact that the overall user experience is horrible.

3. BBWCupid

BBWCupid is one of those sites that has a lot to offer. It does not use deceptive tactics to lure you into upgrading, it has a simple but effective user interface, and all around it is easy to navigate. However, the size of its user base is quite small. This limits your opportunity for finding compatible matches. Also, it lacks an IOS app and its Android app is filled with technical flaws. If the user base of the site were ever to grow significantly, it might be a site worth joining.

4. Flirty9

Flirty9 is an absolute joke of a dating site. They claim to be completely free, yet they constantly remind you that you have to pay for most of it services. The worst part of it is that even after you upgrade your membership, it does not offer a rich user experience. The chances of finding a compatible match are very slim.

5.WantUBad

Our experience with WantUBad was simply awful. The entire site is designed to promote the compulsive purchase of its premium plans. You will not find any real women. If we had to rate this site's user experience, it would be a big zero. Nearly any other dating site on the planet will offer you a better user experience.
