A comprehensive corporate wellness program ensures that you equally concerned about the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of your employees. The result? Fewer sick leaves, more productivity, lower health related costs and more employee satisfaction. So how do you know that your company is offering a comprehensive wellness program to the employees? Here are five things that ensure you are on the right track:

Make your workplace health conscious: Comprehensive corporate wellness initiatives can include a number of scheduled programs like yoga classes, life coaching sessions, de-stressing seminars etc that focus on everything right from personal and professional life balances, addressing financial concerns, fitness programs and stress management to weight loss programs.

Offer healthy food: The wellness program at your workplace should encourage healthy activities on a daily basis. This can include offering healthy drinks, snacks and meals at the office cafeteria rather than junks and pre-packaged food. The company cafeteria should serve fresh, healthy, affordable and delectable food to the employees. Include healthy nibbles in vending machines and in meetings.

Build a team and a budget: Get a team of administrative staff dedicated to the task of creating wellness programs. Allocate a specific budget and make sure that members from the management are also participating in the program whole heartedly. Get a little creative and ensure that the wellness program is incorporated into everything that you do as an organization.
