If you live in nearby cities like Mumbai or Bangalore, then even a road trip with your friends can be very fun and takes only a few hours. Panjim:
If you’re looking for a quieter place in Goa, then this pleasant place in Goa is where you can explore the old Portuguese quarters, the old Goa and see the spice plantations and waterfalls. This place may not be suitable if you want to see the beaches. Here, you can visit temples and churches and explore the local market for buying Goan stuff like handicrafts, cashew nuts, wines, etc. Panjim also has many meeting venues in Goa. So if you have an official event to attend you will want to consider Panjim.

Baga and Calangute:
Both these places are very popular and offer multiple options when it comes to hotels, restaurants, and nightlife. Both these places are located in North Goa and are more crowded and offer a lot of party places. With plenty of beach shacks and watersports, you can choose to stay in Baga or Calangute for a happening holiday. Both these places have the busiest beaches and serve delicious cuisines from around the globe.

Anjuna:
A beach that stretches about 2 km, while you’re at Anjuna, you shouldn’t miss visiting this paradise. Other than the beach, Anjuna also offers a flea market where you can find a variety of branded and non-branded items including jewelry, clothing, footwear, and Indian spices as well. For the party lovers, Anjuna offers clubbing as well where you can dance and spend a wonderful evening.

Salcette:

Located in Southern Goa, Salcette is filled with many beaches like the Mobor beach, Varca beach, Benaulim beach, Sunset beach which offer watersports and other outdoor activities. While Salcette also offers meeting venues in Goa, there are museums and churches as well that you can explore.

Vagator:
Considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa, Vagator is located in the northernmost part of Bardez. While you are looking for hotels in Goa near bus stand, you might consider staying in Vagator which has many local buses plying to and fro from this place. While you’re in Vagator, there are many places that you can visit like the Chapora fort, Ozran beach, and the Morjim beach. There is also a small town called Parra which is close to Vagator and offers mouth-watering sweet and red watermelons. The restaurants in Vagator serve both sea-food and vegetarian food as well.
