5 2020 New Year's Resolutions to Change How You Look and Feel

Happy New Year! Can you believe 2020 is almost here? Make this the year you really love the way you look, once and for all. If you’ve struggled with your appearance and want to make a change but aren't sure where to begin, here are a few ideas:

 

#1 Lose weight. The fact that this is always among the most popular resolutions will tell you just how difficult it is to commit to losing weight. You know this, and you’ve probably actually tried this before. It’s one of the hardest things to achieve and keep long term, so do not be discouraged. Do you fear that you’ve failed too many times to try again? Talk to anyone who has successfully lost weight, and you’ll see that multiple attempts are often the path to success. Try to find out what works for you individually, and be sure to have a support system in place when it gets really tough.

 

#2 Exercise more. Regular exercise is vital for a healthy lifestyle and an appearance you are proud of. While many who make this resolution choose to join a gym, this doesn’t need to be your approach. You can walk or run daily, ride a bicycle, go to a yoga studio, swim, or many other healthy activities. You’ll look great- and feel great too!

It doesn’t need to be drastic, although it certainly can be if you’re ready for a totally new you. Book time with a salon professional and discuss the cut, color, and style that best compliments your face.

 

Each January, roughly one in three Americans resolve to better themselves in some way. Make 2020 the year you take do so as well.
