4 Ways to Live an Active Life

Staying physically active and fit is very important in today’s sedentary lifestyle. If you are someone who works 9 to 5 and then comes home to binge on junk food and go to bed, you need to get some physical activities to stay fit and healthy. Many lifestyle diseases are associated with an inactive lifestyle, like diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid and heart diseases. 

You could get lazy sometimes and take a break from working out, but if it has become your lifestyle, it could be alarming. Whether you want to just stick to walking or jogging or try intense workouts like Zumba, aerobics or do some relaxing yoga, there is no limit to your options. You could pick and choose whatever you wish to do but keeping an active lifestyle should be your utmost priority. You could set goals or get your partner of a friend involved as a workout buddy. It’s not that easy to form a healthy habit but takes some efforts. There are many ways to lead a healthy life.

 

1. Go for a Walk

 

If you are someone who is scared to lift weights or has a health issue, you should just go for a walk. Walking every day for a good 30 minutes makes you less lethargic and pumps you with positive vibes and good energy. You could also switch to walking if your office is at a short distance. This will help you to stay fit even with a busy schedule. Brisk walking is more effective than just regular walking and will keep you healthy and fit in the long run. 

 

2. Get your Personal Trainer

Some people find it intimidating to work out in a group because they are embarrassed of being overweight or not able to fit in. There are many female personal trainers in Dubai that understand your situation and offer personal training to make you comfortable. This gives a lot of opportunities to women who want to stay fit but can’t go to group training. So, worry not if you feel awkward to work out in a group. All you need to do is hire a personal trainer. 

 

3. Put on Those Dancing Shoes

If you find a gym and running boring, you can always choose other forms of physical activities. You could enroll for aerobics, Zumba, Salsa and other exciting dance form options. There are a few ladies gyms in Dubai that offer you different types of workouts along with regular gym workout. It is a brilliant way to start your fitness journey, and it’s even exciting when you have a dancing partner. 

 

4. Get some Chair Workout

If you have a knee or lower back problem, you should try to do some chair workout. You should also try and get up every 30 minutes and get some stretching. There are many workouts that can be done from your work desk and chair. All you need is 15 minutes every day to stretch and workout those stiffened muscles.
