4 Types of Teas That Are Also Health Boosters

Tea has been an admired beverage since time immemorial. Such is the craze of tea that most of the people find their mornings incomplete without a cup full of tea. Besides taste value, some types of teas also offer different health benefits that help treat multiple health issues such as osteoporosis while also assisting in weight loss and stress reduction.  

Include the following types of teas to your health regime to give your body a healthy boost of nutrients and fight many health-related ailments-

1)           Green Tea- Ever since its discovery, green tea has been used to cure a number of people diagnosed with different disorders. The green color can be owed to the fact that it is least processed. Green tea is also rich in antioxidants and catechins that make it a healthy drink. While the former helps improve your body’s immunity, the latter is known for its antimicrobial properties. It helps avert heart diseases, reduces bad cholesterol, protects the lungs, improves digestion and helps ease stress.


3)           Oolong Tea- Having its roots in China, oolong tea is the most intricate of all types. It boasts of an amazing aroma and fruity flavor. It packs the benefits of both black tea and green tea. Although it has high caffeine content, it is a relaxing beverage that assists in weight loss, improves digestion, prevents cancer and cures eczema.  Pair it with your favorite crispy cake rusk during snack time.

 

4)      Chamomile Tea- Praised worldwide for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, Chamomile is used in a variety of teas and tinctures. It helps to alleviate a number of common ailments and has been used to treat insomnia for centuries. It also relieves menstrual cramps, boosts immunity, improves digestion and helps treat skin problems.
