4 Things You'll Experience on Kosher Cruise

by Kosher River Cruise Kosher Tour Operator

A kosher cruise is a great way to travel for several reasons. If you’ve never gone on a cruise before but think it might be something you would enjoy, you try a kosher cruise because the activities in these Jewish tours are fun for everyone no matter how old they may be. There are supervised playrooms for children, outdoor basketball courts for teens and young adults, pools for families and quiet rooms for those who like some peace.

To dive in deeper, here are 4 things you can experience on your kosher cruise trip:

1. Eat All The Food

When it comes to experiencing all the food available on a kosher cruise, you will have many options, many opportunities and many chances to taste delicious kosher food. There are some great restaurants with incredible food, buffets with lots of different foods and snack bars where you can get a quick bite.

Kosher cruises follow the laws of keeping kosher. This means they do not mix milk and meat in any dishes or serve pork or shellfish. But don't worry - there are tons of other foods that are just as good!

2. Relax on the deck

On the sun deck, you can relax on the deck chairs, lounge chairs, and chaises while listening to music or reading a book.

Aside from sunbathing, another great activity up on the deck is simply breathing in some fresh air. You'll find yourself relaxing as you feel the sunshine irradiate your body and hear the soothing sounds of the ocean wave-crashing against the boat's hull.

3. Enjoy the Activities

When you're not eating, there are plenty of other things to do on a kosher cruise. You can relax in the pool or spa, browse the many shops on board, or work out at the gym. You can also play games and gamble at the casino. On many ships you'll find movie theaters, shows and performances, bingo and dancing events, karaoke bars, trivia nights, contests for cash prizes, lectures from experts in various fields, sports courts like basketball and golf simulators—and those are just some of the activities that exist on most ships! On some of them you might even be able to take cooking classes.

4. Explore the Ship

This tip may seem simple, but it's one of the most important ones of all. You may be overwhelmed by your new surroundings when you first board the ship, so much that you might not want to venture out of your cozy room! Don't do this—go out and explore all the ship has to offer. Take pictures of each area, and try to visit as many restaurants as possible. There are also plenty of entertainment options available on cruise lines; make sure you don't miss out on those opportunities either. And finally, don't just walk around aimlessly—talk to people! Everyone from the dining staff to the lifeguards is willing and able to help guide you through your experience. Meeting the other guests on the ship and exchanging stories and can enhance the overall experience of Jewish heritage tours.
