If your water heater makes unusual sounds like popping and rumbling, it’s probably due to the build-up of debris inside the tank. It is a prevalent issue in water heaters when sediment build-up in the system that causes unusual sounds hindering efficiency. Anything like that can be repaired, but it takes some proficiency.
