by Jhon Harry Digital Marketing

We get ready before going to work, we take a walk back to have a meal before going out, we like to relax there on weekends ... I named the bathroom. To save time and prepare in a good mood, we give you all our advice to optimize your bathroom in the rules of art. Dimensions to respect, robustness of materials, ingenious storage, adequate lighting ... Discover the 4 rules to follow to well arrange a bathroom.

1. An optimal circulation

The first thing to think about when planning a bathroom tiles is to organize and optimize each element in order to allow optimal circulation. To take advantage of the space you have, we advise you to put everything flat on a plane and to respect the minimum dimensions between each element. To know: * Between 50 and 60 cm: it is the necessary space to enter and leave the shower or the bath. In the same way, plan this distance in front of your sink to prepare you without being too cramped! * 60 cm: it is the distance to foresee in front of the toilets to be at ease. * 20 cm: this is the essential space to open and close the door without hindering the passage. * 70 cm: this is the fundamental distance to design in front of a piece of furniture to open closet doors easily. * 90 cm: it is the space on the ground necessary to dry serenely. In general, if you do not have a lot of space, think about bringing the water points closer to limit the pipes.

2. Quality materials

When you set up your vain room, you have to think about tomorrow. In other words, you have every interest in choosing quality materials in order to build on a sustainable bathroom. The most important being the floor covering. This must be adapted to the humidity and must be able to dry or absorb the water quickly. Not to mention the practical aspect during the cleaning sessions! As you have understood, the choice of your bathroom coverings must be both aesthetic and practical! If tiling is the preferred material in bathrooms, it is because it is not afraid of water and easy maintenance. The ideal being the porcelain or natural stones whose robustness and longevity are second to none. As for parquet, it is possible to adopt in the bathroom provided you choose exotic species such as teak, bamboo or merbau. These materials are much more suitable for wet spaces. In terms of materials to avoid in the bathroom, we can obviously mention carpeting and natural fibers such as seagrass but also vinyl floors which, despite the advantage of being economical, will not be sustainable in time !

3. Practical storage

Because it's usually one of the smallest rooms in the house, the bathroom must be thought of ingeniously. Each object must be able to be stored without disturbing the circulation of each other. The smaller spaces will favor hanging storage spaces such as shelves to free up the space available on the floor and give a more airy look to the whole. If you're short on space, think about storage niches too! We do not forget the baskets and baskets to organize its beauty products and accessories and voila!

4. Adapted lighting

If there is one room that needs well-designed lighting, it's the bathroom. Especially when it does not have a window or opening. The best advice you can give to light your bathroom is to bet on different sources of light. The most important being the one around the mirror. In order to prepare yourself in optimal conditions, use powerful lighting on each side and above the mirror. For the rest, opt for a softer light to create a more relaxing atmosphere. Wall lamps, suspensions, table lamps ... It's up to you to choose the type of luminaire that best suits your style!
