by Jack Roy Digital Marketing Services
Over the past few months, the DAC team of People and Culture had taken the time to audit our existing policies, practices, and training. We have evaluated how they support our values long held around diversity and inclusion, as well as our zero tolerance policy against racism and discrimination.

Given our findings, we have taken concrete steps to further promote diversity and inclusion in all DAC offices in the United States, Canada, and Europe-began with four such initiatives.

Diversity and inclusion training
Throughout the month of August, all Digital Marketing Company Stafford staff will be involved in the training program diversity and inclusion of new mandatory. Through this 90-minute interactive session, small groups will explore the topic of cross-cultural communication, radical listen to, and have the opportunity to share their thoughts and stories in a safe place to get a taste of a different perspective.

As always, our goal is to encourage and facilitate the safe and open space for people to communicate. Thus, it is designed to not only expose team members to new concepts and fresh ideas, but provide a sounding board to communicate with each other on a human level.

The Open Book Club
Our new book club is a monthly virtual meetup where members discuss the text or documentary selected to continue our ongoing education on various topics of social justice. The first book is Ijeoma this Oluo So You Want to Talk About Race, which not only explores the topic of racism but also provides a practical framework for discussions.
